Hancock 2 – Full Teaser Trailer 2025 – Will Smith

The Hancock 2 (2025) full teaser trailer brings back Will Smith as the iconic anti-hero, John Hancock, in a sequel that delves deeper into his mysterious origins and introduces an even bigger threat to humanity. The trailer opens with Hancock living a low-key life, now more disciplined after the events of the first film. His days of reckless heroism are behind him, but it’s clear that his past will soon catch up.

A mysterious voiceover by a new character, played by Idris Elba, sets the tone: “The gods of old are never gone. They’ve only been forgotten. But not for long.” We see Hancock walking through the city, haunted by dreams of his ancient past. These dreams show glimpses of battles in a distant, mythic land, where Hancock and others like him fought for dominance.

Hancock is pulled back into action when a new superhuman, Althea (played by Lupita Nyong’o), appears in the city. She has similar powers to Hancock and claims to be from the same immortal lineage. Althea warns Hancock that their kind is not meant to exist in peace—that their very presence on Earth could awaken an ancient enemy, the god of destruction known as Typhon.

As the trailer builds, we see intense action scenes. Hancock and Althea team up in jaw-dropping aerial battles, their superhuman strength showcased as they tear through cityscapes and stop collapsing buildings. However, they are soon outmatched by Typhon (Idris Elba), a powerful being who wields the elemental forces of fire and earth. His goal: to destroy both the world and the remnants of Hancock’s ancient race.

The stakes are higher than ever, as Hancock struggles with the responsibility of protecting humanity while facing an enemy that could very well be unstoppable. The teaser ends with Typhon delivering a chilling line: “You are a mistake, Hancock. And now, I’ll correct it.” Hancock, bruised but defiant, responds: “Bring it.”

The title Hancock 2 flashes across the screen with the release year: 2025.
