The Prey 2 trailer begins with a wide shot of a mist-covered forest at dawn, with birds scattering from the treetops. Naru (Amber Midthunder), now a seasoned warrior and protector of her Comanche tribe, looks on cautiously. Her voiceover sets the tone: “I fought a demon once. I thought it was over… but the hunt never ends.”
As the camera shifts to the tribe’s peaceful camp, strange occurrences start to unsettle the people. Crops are destroyed, animals are found mutilated, and distant, eerie howls echo through the night. Naru, sensing the danger, prepares for the worst. A new enemy has returned to the land—the Predators. But this time, they’ve evolved.
The trailer cuts to quick flashes of terrifying imagery: the iconic three red laser dots appearing on a warrior’s chest, alien technology scanning the terrain, and an unseen creature moving through the shadows with deadly precision. The suspense builds as we see Naru leading her tribe into battle preparation, teaching them new fighting techniques and using the knowledge she gained from her previous encounter.
The intensity builds as Naru and her brother Taabe (Dakota Beavers), who was thought to have perished in the first film, are reunited. Taabe, now scarred but alive, reveals that he has been tracking the Predator’s movements. Together, they form a plan to trap and outwit the alien hunter.
In a series of quick-cut action scenes, we see Naru mastering new weapons, including advanced Predator tech she scavenged from the previous encounter. Explosive combat sequences in dense forests and open plains highlight Naru’s growth as a warrior and leader. The Predator uses brutal, high-tech weapons, including a net that disintegrates its victims and an energy-based spear, raising the stakes to a new level.
The trailer’s climax shows Naru facing off against the Predator in a final showdown, using a combination of traditional Comanche tactics and the Predator’s own technology. In the final shot, Naru stands bloodied but unbroken as she delivers a chilling warning to the Predator: “This land is ours. And we’ll never stop fighting.”
