The Conjuring 4 – Teaser Trailer (2024)

The Conjuring 4 dives deeper into the supernatural cases of Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga), this time tackling one of their darkest and most dangerous investigations yet. The movie, set in the late 1980s, follows the Warrens as they are called to investigate a chilling case in a small town in Massachusetts, where a family is terrorized by a malevolent entity.

The film opens with a family moving into an old Victorian house, unaware of its sinister history. Soon after, strange occurrences begin to happen—objects move on their own, shadowy figures appear, and the youngest daughter, Sarah, starts to hear eerie voices calling her name. Desperate for help, the family reaches out to the Warrens, who arrive to conduct an investigation.

Lorraine immediately senses a dark presence in the house, something far more powerful than the spirits they’ve dealt with in the past. She begins to have terrifying visions of a woman in black, who seems to be the source of the haunting. As they delve deeper, the Warrens uncover the disturbing history of the house. It once belonged to a witch, Abigail Harker, who was executed during the Salem witch trials. Before her death, Abigail cursed the land and vowed to return to torment anyone who lived on it.

As the haunting escalates, Sarah becomes the focal point of the entity’s wrath. The witch attempts to possess her, driving the family to the edge of fear and despair. Lorraine uses her psychic abilities to communicate with the spirit and learns that the witch’s curse can only be broken by confronting her in the spiritual realm. This leads to a tense, otherworldly journey for Lorraine, where she faces Abigail’s wrath in a nightmarish dimension.

Meanwhile, Ed battles the physical manifestations of the haunting in the real world, as the house itself comes alive, with doors slamming shut, furniture flying, and the very walls warping under the witch’s power. The climax builds to a heart-pounding exorcism scene, where Lorraine and Ed work together to banish the witch’s spirit for good.

In true Conjuring fashion, the film ends on a haunting note, with Lorraine seeing a vision of another dark force—teasing that the Warrens’ battle with the supernatural is far from over.
