The teaser for Titanic 2: The Return of Jack (2025) opens with an iconic shot of the vast ocean, calm and serene, much like the original film. But this time, there’s a twist—rising from the depths of the sea, a shadowy figure slowly emerges. As the water breaks, Jack Dawson, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, comes into view, miraculously revived and gasping for breath, as the voiceover quips, “Some loves never let go… even after 100 years.”
The camera zooms in on Jack’s confused face as he wanders through a modern city, bewildered by the towering skyscrapers and technology surrounding him. The once-carefree artist is now a man out of time, still wearing his tattered 1912 clothes. A comedic montage ensues, showing Jack adjusting to the 21st century—staring at smartphones in disbelief, marveling at flat-screen TVs, and getting lost in a mall.
Then, the trailer takes a dramatic turn as Jack finds himself inexplicably drawn back to the sea. We see a massive luxury cruise ship setting sail, eerily resembling the original Titanic but equipped with all the modern amenities. Aboard this ship is Rose’s great-granddaughter, played by Kate Winslet in a dual role, who looks strikingly similar to the love Jack lost so long ago. Cue the reunion music as Jack awkwardly approaches her, stammering, “I’ve crossed time and oceans to find you… again.”
The comedy kicks up as the trailer cuts to scenes of Jack trying to fit in on the new Titanic. He struggles with Wi-Fi, mistakenly thinks a jet ski is a lifeboat, and hilariously tries to recreate his “king of the world” moment—only to be interrupted by a drone flying by. Yet, danger looms. An ominous storm brews on the horizon, and Jack must once again face his fear of icy waters. As the ship starts to hit rough seas, Jack dramatically exclaims, “Not again!”
The trailer ends with a slow zoom on Jack’s face, a mix of determination and exasperation, as he says, “This time… I’m bringing my own door.”
Cue the epic, over-the-top score as the title appears: Titanic 2: The Return of Jack—coming soon to theaters, where time, love, and logic know no bounds.
