TERRIFIER 3 Official Trailer (2024) Red band

Terrifier 3 takes Art the Clown’s (David Howard Thornton) reign of terror to new, terrifying heights. Picking up where Terrifier 2 left off, the film opens with Art being resurrected in mysterious circumstances. His supernatural origins remain a mystery, but one thing is clear: Art is more dangerous than ever. He begins a new killing spree in the same city, targeting unsuspecting victims in the most gruesome ways possible.

The story centers around Sienna (Lauren LaVera), the sole survivor from Terrifier 2, who is now grappling with severe PTSD and survivor’s guilt. She knows Art will come for her again, and she has been training, preparing herself for their inevitable final confrontation. Her younger brother, Jonathan, now a teenager, has also become obsessed with understanding Art’s supernatural nature, researching the history of the clown and his connection to the dark forces behind his invincibility.

As Art continues his killing spree, his methods become even more horrifying, with scenes of shocking gore and unsettling violence that outdo the previous films. Art’s murders are more twisted and theatrical, showing off his sadistic sense of humor in ways that leave the audience both terrified and in disbelief. The film introduces a new batch of victims, each dispatched in creatively gruesome ways, from haunted funhouses to abandoned hospitals, with Art using anything he can find as a weapon.

In the film’s climax, Sienna and Jonathan discover a chilling link between Art’s immortality and an ancient curse tied to their family’s lineage. With this knowledge, Sienna faces Art in an epic showdown, utilizing everything she’s learned to try and end the clown’s reign of terror once and for all. The final battle is brutal, bloody, and full of heart-stopping moments.

However, as Terrifier 3 comes to a close, a shocking twist suggests that Art’s terror is far from over, teasing a darker, even more twisted future for the series.
