The teaser for RAMPAGE 2: The Evolution opens with an ominous, panoramic view of a vast, abandoned research facility on a remote island. Thunder cracks in the background as the camera zooms in on cages, broken glass, and scattered scientific equipment, hinting at the chaos that took place here. The familiar voice of Dwayne Johnson’s character, Davis Okoye, echoes over the scene, warning, “Sometimes, evolution doesn’t come naturally—it’s forced.”
We then catch a glimpse of George, the massive albino gorilla from the first Rampage movie, who now appears even larger and more powerful than before. George’s calm, intelligent eyes are met with a rare look of fear as he senses something ominous in the distance. Davis stands beside him, visibly concerned, signaling that the creatures they once fought might be evolving in ways they hadn’t imagined.
The trailer hints at new monstrous threats that have emerged since the events of the first film. A mutated creature, a massive lizard-like beast with hardened, scale-like armor, briefly appears from the shadows, letting out an ear-splitting roar. Other creatures flash across the screen in quick succession—winged beasts with razor-sharp claws, and a massive aquatic monster bursting out of the ocean, showing that the “rampage” has gone global.
Johnson’s character gathers a specialized team to help him take down these new threats, which have evolved and are wreaking havoc on major cities worldwide. The stakes are higher than ever as he’s now up against creatures that can think, strategize, and adapt.
In one of the final scenes, we see a fierce battle erupting as George squares off against a monstrous new enemy, his strength and agility tested to their limits. Davis is shown racing to find a way to stop the onslaught as the world teeters on the edge of destruction. The teaser ends with a pulse-pounding shot of Davis standing atop a skyscraper, preparing for a showdown as the creatures converge on the city.
