Van Helsing 2 (2025) – First Trailer | Hugh Jackman

In Van Helsing 2 (2025), the first trailer brings back Hugh Jackman as the legendary monster hunter Gabriel Van Helsing, in a sequel that promises more action, darker mythology, and new supernatural threats. Set years after the events of the first film, the teaser opens with Van Helsing living in isolation, haunted by the horrors he’s faced and the lives he couldn’t save. His once-steely resolve has been replaced by doubt, but fate has other plans for him.

The trailer’s opening scenes show strange disturbances sweeping across Europe, with villages decimated and ancient creatures stirring. A mysterious figure seeks out Van Helsing, pleading for his help as an ancient evil rises. It is revealed that Dracula’s curse wasn’t fully broken in the first film, and a far more dangerous being, Lilith, the Mother of Vampires, has awakened from her centuries-long slumber. Played by Eva Green, Lilith is a seductive and deadly queen, determined to finish what Dracula started and plunge the world into eternal darkness.

Van Helsing, despite his reluctance, is thrust back into action. The trailer cuts to epic shots of him donning his iconic coat and arming himself with an array of new weapons. He is not alone this time, as he is joined by a group of monster hunters from across Europe, including a witch with mystical powers (portrayed by Anya Taylor-Joy) and a werewolf ally with a personal vendetta (played by Jason Momoa).

Action-packed sequences flash by, with Van Helsing battling legions of vampires, werewolves, and other nightmarish creatures in gothic castles, haunted forests, and cryptic ruins. The film seems to delve deeper into Van Helsing’s origins as glimpses of his past life and mysterious powers are teased.

The trailer culminates in an intense face-off between Van Helsing and Lilith in a crumbling cathedral, with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance. “The world needs a hunter,” Lilith says ominously, to which Van Helsing replies, “And I’m the only one left.”

The trailer ends on a chilling note, with a cryptic shot of Van Helsing’s eyes glowing with an unknown power, leaving fans to speculate on what’s to come.
