Annabelle 4: Slient Fear (2025) | First Trailer | Warner Bros

The movie opens with a chilling scene set in the 1970s, a few years after the events of Annabelle Comes Home. A small, tight-knit community in New England is shaken by a series of unexplained, gruesome deaths that appear to have a paranormal edge. A young couple, Emily and Jack, who have just moved into an old, Victorian home in the town, are the next victims of Annabelle’s dark curse.

Emily, a psychologist, stumbles upon a case involving a child, Sarah, who is mute due to a traumatic incident tied to the malevolent doll. Sarah is living in a church orphanage where Annabelle somehow resurfaces. The doll has been locked away in the church’s archives for years, but inexplicable occurrences start happening—objects moving, eerie whispers, and Sarah’s increasingly erratic behavior, although she remains unable to speak.

Meanwhile, Father Marcus, a retired priest who had once encountered the Warrens, is called in to investigate the situation after the town’s local priest becomes ill. He senses a dark presence surrounding Sarah and the church, but his past experiences with Annabelle fill him with dread. Unbeknownst to him, the doll has now bonded with Sarah and is using her silence as a tool to manipulate those around her.

As the story unfolds, Emily realizes that Sarah’s muteness is not just psychological but supernaturally induced by Annabelle. The child can hear the doll’s sinister whispers, which guide her actions. Father Marcus attempts a ritual to cleanse the church, but Annabelle’s power has grown too strong. In a harrowing climax, the doll leads Sarah to a hidden catacomb beneath the church where many of the town’s darkest secrets and past rituals are revealed.

Emily and Jack, along with Father Marcus, descend into the underground tunnels to rescue Sarah and stop the doll once and for all. But in a final twist, Sarah turns on them, fully possessed by the spirit within Annabelle. The movie ends on a chilling note as the doll’s power continues to spread, leaving the town in silent fear.
