The trailer for I Am Legend 2: Dawn of Hope opens with a panoramic shot of a post-apocalyptic New York City, its once-bustling streets now reclaimed by nature. Neville, reluctant to re-engage, is drawn back into the fight after learning that his experimental cure for the virus may still hold the key to humanity’s survival. A young scientist, Dr. Elena Vargas (played by a new addition to the cast), finds Neville’s research and begs for his help to complete it.
The trailer is packed with action: Neville battling Darkseekers in underground tunnels, Anna leading a caravan of survivors to safety, and tense scenes of the group defending their sanctuary against relentless attacks. The stakes are raised when Neville discovers the terrifying truth—the leader of the Darkseekers was a subject from one of his earlier experiments, seeking revenge.
